Hello world! It’s very nice to meet you.
We are Jordy and Nat, co-bloggers on Kiss the Co-Pilot. We met each other as roomies in college and as our friendship progressed, we would come to find out we also had many mutual friends. Let’s just say we were destined to meet each other, one way or another. Upon meeting and throughout our friendship, we have discovered that we are so much alike in many ways. We are both food scientists by degree and we are both foodies as much as we are “eaties.” We are both obsessed with DONUTS. We both love dancing, especially line dances (get out of our way).
Another similarity between us – perhaps the one that we treasure the most – is that we are both wives of United States Airmen. We are both recently married (within the last year) and have begun an indefinite adventure as “dependents” with our wagons hitched to theirs…wherever they may go. We always knew that this adventure was not going to be easy but now that we are in the thick of it, we are finding a need for answers and support that Google just cannot provide. We figured, if we are struggling to find answers to questions as basic as “where should we live?” or “where can I work?”, others must be too. This was the idea that prompted us to create Kiss the Co-Pilot. Our purpose is to hopefully answer some of those simple questions while creating a network of support and communication for military spouses. In addition to our blog, you can also follow us on Instagram and Facebook @kissthecopilot.
We’re so happy to have you here with us and we can’t wait to meet all of you!
